If someone breaks in, before the Police arrive, I feel they already have had the time to do whatever it is they wanted, so what's the point? | |
| | How safe do you feel at home? | | I was just wondering how safe you guys feel in your home. I have always felt safe in my home and I remember growing up we alwasy left our doors unlocked even when we lived in Chicago...but times certainly have changed.I still feel safe in my home, but I have to admit until I get the floodlights installed at my house I do not like going out after dark. In fact, when I walk my dog that stays in the house with me I stay on my front walk and call for my other outside dogs to come near me. And my locks are those kinds where you need keys to open either side. I never thought of a secuirty system and I knwo this sounds dumb because none of my electronics are that expensive...but it definitely would come in handy for intruders who decided to intrude for other reasons.So how many of you have Home Security systems? What kinds are they? How much does it cost for installation? | |

for a fact that she is about to do something wrong!Last time she locked her door, she had put a box

| | Why is it so dark outside? It's only six PM! | | On the east coast, it's just past six P.M and already it's pitch black outside. Just thirty minutes ago, the sun was setting and the sky started turning pink and purple. And, an hour before that, the sky was ultra clear and sunny as if it were noon. It's weird to think that darkness and night can settle in so quickly. Most times during the summer, we like to go outside around six P.M, to enjoy the early evening. It's always so nice and cool. Not scorching hot, like the middle of the day. Most times during the summer and late summer it's daylight till almost nine P.M in our area.But now, it's getting way too dark at that time to even go outdoors. Maybe it's just me, but it seems as if it's getting darker much sooner this time of year. How early does it get dark where you live? Do you find that it's getting darker much earlier this year than it was last year? | |
| | | guard dog or security system? | | i have had several friends tell me that their dogs, who have been to training sessions teaching them to ward off intruders, are a much better burgalor deterrent then home security systems. any truth in this? im sure their at least much cheaper | |

Pounds Sterling ).But i saw what kind of home security systems is how many bodyguards accompany him and the crapper, how thick is the armor car, as he take heart aches when he sees the stock market goes down.And you start to ask yourself: if there is no middle way - i mean enough money to have one house, put food on the table, take a gift to your loved ones from time to time, to take a vacation, to raise a child -What do you choose? Rich or poor?And good health - as this money can not buy too is gone.When you're rich that's at stake? To have more and more and more + do not lose what you have. | | How Secure Is Your Home And Car Do You Have Alarms For One Both Or None? | | Hi MylottersWith so many home security systems out there like ADT,Brinks,ect.. their very easy to get I have the system was free but of course the monitoring is monthly fee we have ADT sometimes I am beginning to think we may not even it need it because there is usually always someone home but there is always the time when someone might not be so we still have it also when you go on vacation its nice to have that . I would imagine it would depend on your situation also it helps with your homeowners insurance so there are other benefits besides just the protection plan.
