Does anyone know which type of security system is the best?I have searched a couple and found that there are wireless systems.
Are they any good?
How do they work?I prefer to buy a home security system without any fees.
I just want the best and the cheapest system.
NO Monthly fees.
NO Any Others fees.Can anyone help me?

| | Home Security... | | With all the crime in the world and the sudden increase of gun sales, I started thinking about home security. We don’t really have any. We used to keep a ball bat by the door but it’s gone. I also used to have my dog, Petey, but he’s passed away. We don’t have a gun (I really don’t like them), a bat, a taser, a vicious dog or even an alarm system. If I had to get something I’d probably get a bat. If I’m scared enough and mad enough I know I could swing to kill or at least cripple someone. Luckily we live in an area where there isn’t much crime so far as break-ins.What kind of home security do you have? Which one do you think is the most affective? | Why are there LESS home security alarms in bad areas? | | the nicer neighborhoods every house has a security alarm.. the ghetto no one does.. makes no sense!! unless the house subdivision has a deal with the subcontractors to put in alarms with their houses then wouldnt you think the bad areas of town would have more home alarms since there is more crime? | |
| | Home security | | I am wondering how secure do you think your homes are. I have been having problems with people entering my back gate and throwing rocks at my windows and roof. Also trying to break into my back door. I have security lights but they don't seem to stop it. I live in what people call a family neighborhood, but lately there have been break ins and fires set at a nearby school park. Any ideas on how to stop these people or other security type things I can use. Thanks in advance for your help | |

| Home Security - How do you protect your house? | | A friend of mine woke up at 5 in the morning because she heard some noises on their second floor deck. At first she thought it was racoons or squirrels but then she decided to check. When she opened the door to the deck she came face to face with a young man who was in the process of ripping up the screen door. (Lucky there was one). She quickly closed the door, and woke her husband who called the police. The young man cowered in a corner of the deck. He did not want to jump down two floors and they still can't figure out how he got up there in the first place. The young man was arrested and it turned out he was a drug addict.
Some people here have motion sensors in the house, and motion sensor lights outside close to doors and windows, some people have latches on all their doors and windows, some people have monitored alarm systems and some people have dogs.
So how do you protect your home? | |
| | Home Security and Video Surveillance | | Does your home have a home security system installed and/or video surveillance? I have installed video cameras all around the perimeter of our house and record everything onto a VCR. It gives me great peace of mind to know that I won't have to wonder what's going on at home while I'm away. | |
